Top-ranked graduate schools actively seek Teach For America alumni. They recognize that corps members have gone through a highly-selective process and value the rich perspective and insight that come from teaching in a low-income area. As a result, many graduate schools offer special benefits to corps members and alumni including two-year deferrals, application fee waivers and scholarships.
We are currently in the process of re-confirming the details of our partnerships for the 2010 - 2011 school year. Please check with admissions offices directly when inquiring about a partnership and be sure to check back here by July 1 for updates.
