We have both regional teams and national teams at Teach For America working closely together to fuel our growth and maximize our impact. Our regional teams advance our work at the local level, fostering strong relationships within the communities where we place teachers. Our national teams have deep functional expertise in areas such as marketing, finance, IT, recruitment and teacher preparation and support. This nationally centralized expertise is re-used across all regional teams to drive and support their decision making in their local contexts.

Admissions Team
Last year, over 47,000 people applied for approximately 5,400 spots within our teaching corps. Our team manages an efficient and transparent application process designed to identify the applicants who will become the most effective teachers. We also determine where to place our accepted applicants and oversee transitional grants and loans to help with their relocation expenses. View open roles.
Alumni Affairs Team
We foster the development of our 20,000+ alumni network as a force for social change. We provide them with pathways to leadership, forums to advance their thinking on issues of ed reform, and ways to connect and support each other. View open roles.
Finance and Administration Team
We make sure that Teach For America has the financial and administrative capabilities to support our organizational growth. We oversee all financial matters (accounting, planning and analysis, grants and contracts, and payroll). We also manage all facilities, real estate strategy, and purchasing initiatives. Information Technology Team
We deliver high-quality technology solutions to all teams throughout Teach For America. Our team is comprised of six functional areas: application development, solutions and delivery, technology operations, user support technologies, enterprise architecture, and business operations. We partner with some of the largest names in technology, and have the latest technological software, equipment, and expertise. View open roles.
Growth, Development and Partnerships Team
Our team's mission is to build an ever-expanding and increasingly diverse movement of leaders in the private and public sectors committed to educational excellence and opportunity for all children. We are responsible for enabling and accelerating Teach For America’s impact by 1) building partnerships with schools, districts, supporters, government, community organizations, and other education institutions; 2) developing and executing the optimum growth and corps member placement strategy to increase the teacher corps in existing and new sites; and 3) raising financial support to enable our growth and operations. Human Assets Team
We strategically partner with all teams within Teach For America to attract, engage, develop and retain extraordinary, diverse talent. We ensure that Teach For America has the human capital required to reach ambitious goals in the short and the long term, by being considered the premier place to work for the most talented, diverse people in the country who are committed to closing the achievement gap.

Marketing + Communications Team
We partner with our colleagues to build and strengthen the Teach For America brand with our most crucial constituencies, including corps prospects, corps members, alumni, staff members, donors, news reporters and other supporters. Our in-house insights, creative and digital sub-teams help make sure our marketing strategies are integrated across channels and aligned with our core values, and our communications sub-team secures positive, accurate and robust media coverage that increases awareness, understanding and support of Teacher For America and the broader movement to ensure educational excellence and equity. Office of the Chief Executive and Office of the President
Led by our chief executive officer (Wendy Kopp) and president (Matt Kramer), we are responsible for Teach For America’s strategy, performance, operations, and effectiveness – and work to foster a strong organizational culture. With the National Board of Directors, senior leadership, and other allies in Teach For America’s mission, we aim to maximize Teach For America’s current and future impact. View open roles.
Recruitment Team
On college campuses and among all professions, we seek out our country's most promising leaders and inspire them to join our teacher corps. We work toward ambitious goals for the growth of our corps and its racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic diversity. View open roles.
Regional Operations Team
Our team sets the vision and direction in each of our regions to ensure students in low-income communities receive the quality education they deserve. We work with local constituents – districts, community members, alumni and other supporters – to help us realize our vision of “One Day”. View open roles.
Teacher Preparation, Support, and Development Team
We’re responsible for ensuring that the students we serve earn expanded life opportunities through working with our corps members. In order to do so, we provide corps members the necessary training and on-going support to develop the necessary conviction, skills and insight to become life-long, transformational leaders in this work.
