The interview schedule
Teach For America applicants must submit an online application by one of our four deadlines. Next, selected applicants participate in a 30-minute phone interview with a Teach For America representative. Then, the most promising applicants are invited to a final, day-long interview. In some cases, applicants may be invited directly to a final interview without participating in a phone interview. Please view our Application timeline for 2010.

Regional placement
Teach For America currently places corps members in 35 urban and rural areas, and will expand to additional regions in 2010. We work hard to meet corps members’ location, grade-level, and subject preferences while balancing district needs and state requirements.
