Position: Director of Institute Operations
Team: Philadelphia Institute
Office: New York
Teach For America's culture is truly unique. I have never been part of an organization with so many driven individuals who are critical yet positive; who take independent ownership of projects yet work collectively; and who celebrate success yet work with humility. It is so motivating to work with so many people who are working relentlessly to ultimately effect change for students in low-income communities. Those are the reasons why I work at Teach For America.

I work for Teach For America for two reasons. First, I deeply believe in Teach For America's mission to build the movement to eliminate educational inequity by enlisting some of our nation's most promising future leaders in the effort. Second, it is a privilege to work with such motivated, thoughtful, and goal-oriented people. This provides me with the opportunity to learn and grow every day. It is great to be part of a group that constantly pushes itself to improve and to reach increasingly ambitious goals.
