Resource Room Specialist
Compensation and Benefits
Resource room specialists will work up to 20 hours per week and will receive a salary that varies by institute. If you have questions about compensation, please contact institutestaff@teachforamerica.org. Starting the week before corps member arrival, they will set up the resource room and attend a required orientation (there will be flexible scheduling options for those still in full-time teaching positions during this time). During the five weeks of the institute, specialists will be expected to work various shifts during the room’s hours of operation (typically Sunday through Thursday, 5 pm – 11 pm, though hours and days vary by institute). Resource room specialists will also assist with take down of the rooms during the week following the institute. Housing at the institute is not provided for this position.
