"When I applied for the resource room specialist position, I didn’t realize how much my work would impact my practice. Through helping new corps members prepare their lessons, I had the opportunity to refine my own lesson-planning and teaching skills. By the end of the summer, in addition to knowing that I had supported corps members in their development, I had my own personal library of resources to bring back to my classroom in September."
