Operations directors lead a team of operations coordinators to ensure that the institute runs smoothly. They are driven by the desire to create efficient systems that enable others to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage staff to ensure effective and efficient operations at the institute
- Create and execute large-scale operational systems
- Act as an ongoing resource to corps members and summer staff for any logistical questions, allowing others to remain focused on learning and development
Long-Term Leadership:
- Prepare for leadership positions by managing high-impact operational systems and structures
- Refine problem-solving and project management skills
Qualified applicants:
- Have exceptional organization skills and are detail-oriented
- Demonstrate the ability to manage complex problems in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain strong positive outlook and sense of possibility under stress
- Effectively manage others
- Preferably have 1+ years of teaching experience by the start of the institute and experience planning large-scale events or creating and implementing complex organizational systems
