Corps Member Advisor Coordinator
About the Role

Corps member advisor coordinators ensure that corps member advisors have the training and support that they need to coach corps members towards key objectives during our summer training institute. They are driven by the desire to work through others to ensure that corps members are receiving consistent, quality instruction, feedback and coaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with other staff members to develop and facilitate conferences and training sessions for corps member advisors
- Analyzing data and corps member advisor performance in order to provide ongoing feedback and differentiated support to corps member advisors during the summer institute
- Serving as a member of the institute leadership team and as a resource to summer school leaders

Qualified Applicants:

Possess knowledge of and demonstrate ease in working with adult learners

Achieve results through others

Are experienced in working with new teachers in professional development settings – including observing other teachers and giving feedback, providing guidance to new teachers in their planning, and facilitating group discussion – preferred, but not required

Preferably have 3+ years of teaching experience by the start of the institute and 1+ years of experience coaching teachers, as well as experience as a corps member advisor
