Recruitment Associate
About the Role
A recruitment associate works directly with a recruitment director to develop and execute strategies for recruiting a diverse group of corps members from a portfolio of colleges and universities. Recruitment associates also take primary ownership of the recruitment campaign at one or more "emerging" campuses, schools where Teach For America has historically had a limited presence.

"It’s rare, I think, to find managers who come to you asking you how you are growing professionally within the organization rather than the other way around. That makes for an environment in which asking questions, being creative, and approaching people for help is the norm, and I feel lucky to be a part of it."
While the work can be challenging at times, and the hours long, it’s ultimately up to me how I get my tasks done and how I meet my goals. This allows for an exciting amount of creativity with planning school strategies, connecting with people at schools, brainstorming ideas and executing them. At the end of an application deadline, there are few things more exciting than looking at results and knowing that your work made that happen.
