General management
General management roles span a broad spectrum of functional areas, but typically involve managing team members while overseeing a large enterprise. In addition to managing staff members, individuals in these roles create the vision for the teams they lead and develop and implement strategies to realize that vision. General managers have a strong sense of personal responsibility for outcomes and often carry expertise in at least one of the other five categories of roles we discuss in this section.

Summer Training Institute Positions
The summer institute offers a range of positions to people with all levels of experience who are interested in dedicating six to seven weeks over the summer to enhancing corps member learning and student achievement. Positions are available for alumni, corps members, and college students.
