Teach For America teams with Deloitte.

REMINDER: Apply by November 7, 2008 for eligibility.

Joining Teach For America before pursuing a career in business will provide you with the management experience and skills that will help you have a greater impact in the business world. Partnership Benefits

• Two-year deferrals for students who receive full-time offers from specific business areas at Deloitte and are also accepted into Teach For America.
• Deloitte recruits Teach For America corps members for full-time and summer internship opportunities.

Eligibility Requirements

• Candidates must be offered a position within one of Deloitte’s participating businesses:

  • Consulting (Business Analyst, Business Technology Analyst, Human Capital Analyst), Financial Advisory Services, Audit, Enterprise Risk Services, Tax
• Candidates must meet all of Teach For America's minimum application requirements.

Deferral Partnership Details

• In order to be eligible for a Deloitte deferral, candidates must apply to Teach For America by November 7, 2008. All applications must be completed and submitted via www.teachforamerica.org.
• Once a candidate has been accepted by Teach For America and has a full-time offer from one of the participating Deloitte businesses, the candidate must inform Deloitte that s/he would like to apply for a two-year deferral.
• Teach For America applicants have one week to confirm whether they will join the corps after they are notified of acceptance. Deferral candidates that require extra time to coordinate their deferral may e-mail Teach For America’s admissions team (admissions@teachforamerica.org) to request a decision extension.
