Thank you for your interest in becoming a Teach For America corps member and joining a growing movement of leaders impacting education across 39 low-income communities.

In 2010, over 46,000 individuals applied to Teach For America and more than 4,500 individuals – each with a unique set of career aspirations, academic majors, and personal backgrounds – entered the Teach For America 2010 corps. They hail from more than 500 colleges and universities, 1,800 cities, all 50 states, and the District of Columbia. Their undergraduate and graduate majors represent a broad spectrum of academic interests, and 14 percent held a full-time job before joining the corps.
